About Our Founder
K.Subraya Setty
Mr. Subraya Setty embodies a rare blend of professional acumen and profound philanthropic dedication. With a career spanning decades across the banking and business sectors, his journey is a testament to unwavering commitment and a deep-seated desire to contribute to societal well-being.
An accomplished individual, Mr. Setty's robust educational foundation includes a B.Com, ICWA, and an MBA, further enriched by Master's degrees in both Hindi and Telugu. This diverse academic background speaks to his intellectual curiosity and breadth of knowledge. His distinguished career in the banking sector saw him serve for 28 years with ING Vysya Bank in Bangalore, where he rose through the ranks to retire as a respected Regional Manager. This extensive experience honed his leadership, strategic planning, and financial management skills – invaluable assets he now brings to his charitable endeavors.
Beyond his illustrious corporate career, K.Subraya Setty is a dynamic force in various spheres, always driven by a vision for community betterment. He currently serves as the Managing Partner at Sri Vasavi Enterprises, a successful FMCG distribution business in Bangalore, and as the Managing Director of Sri Sai Ajith Developers. While these roles showcase his entrepreneurial spirit, it is his profound engagement in charitable activities that truly defines his character.
Mr. Setty is the devoted Trustee of an active Charitable Trust in Bangalore, which compassionately operates an Old Age Home, providing solace and care to the elderly. His commitment extends to numerous spiritual and community initiatives, where he holds esteemed positions such as Honorable President at Sri Vasavi Temple Management Committee, Director at Sri Vasavi Temple in HBR Layout, and Director at the Management of Sri Sai Temple, also in HBR Layout. He also serves as Vice-President at Sri Vasavi Temple, Kothanur. These roles underscore his dedication to fostering community cohesion and spiritual welfare. Furthermore, his past leadership as President at Subramaneeshwara Cooperative Ltd. highlights his long-standing involvement in cooperative community development.
